Summer Travel Teams June 2027
Build your skills, confidence, and team chemistry with Mountain Lions Hockey. Our June program combines a training camp in Aspen with planned tournament weekends in Denver and Las Vegas. We are also exploring a third tournament for late June, with a focus on suitable competition and affordable family travel.
Ages
2016 — A/AA
2017 — A/AA
Each team will carry 13 skaters and one goaltender, with dedicated coaching throughout the program. Final tournament divisions are subject to organizer approval.
When
The program runs in June 2027, beginning with an Aspen training camp on June 4–6 (Friday–Sunday), followed by planned tournament weekends in Denver and Las Vegas. A third tournament for late June is under consideration.
Practices
ASPEN TRAINING CAMP
June 5–7, 2027 | Aspen, Colorado
• Four 75-minute on-ice sessions — five hours of ice time
• Dryland training
• Shooting room sessions
• Team-building activities
• Player meals during camp
Players will work on individual skills and team play before putting their training into practice during tournament competition.
Games
Denver Area, Colorado | June 11–13 — Tentative
Our first planned tournament keeps the team close to home. Event dates and available divisions for 2027 require organizer confirmation.
Vegas Cup | June 18–20
Las Vegas, Nevada
Hosted by Pro Performance Events, with A and AA divisions advertised and three 13-minute stop-time periods for 10U and 12U. Team participation and division placement remain subject to confirmation.
Third Tournament | Late June — To Be Announced
An additional tournament is being considered based on suitable competition, confirmed team participation, and travel costs for families.
The final tournament count and schedule will be confirmed before payment is collected.
Jerseys
Mountain Lions game uniforms and off-ice training apparel are included in the program fee. Sizing and ordering instructions will be shared through Crossbar.
Extra Costs
Families are responsible for player and accompanying-family travel, accommodations, ground transportation, personal hockey equipment, and meals outside the Aspen camp.
Payment processing fees are additional. Entry fees for tournaments included in the final program schedule are covered by the program fee.

Does registration guarantee a roster spot?
Registration confirms your interest in the program. Final roster placement will be confirmed separately by Mountain Lions Hockey.
Will there be two or three tournaments?
Denver and Las Vegas are our planned destinations. We are exploring a third tournament for late June and will confirm the final schedule before collecting payment.
When should we book travel?
Please wait for confirmed tournament participation and hotel booking instructions. Some tournaments require families to use designated hotel partners.
How will families receive updates?
Schedules, uniform instructions, and tournament details will be shared through Crossbar.
What is the refund policy?
